Project Details:

  • Project Name: National Network Project of Department of Biotechnology, IIT Kharagpur – Visva Bharati Collaboration

  • Funding Agency: Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India, Ministry of Science & Technology, Block-3, 5th Floor, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi – 110003

  • Project Duration: 60 months or until project termination, whichever is earlier

Essential Qualifications:

  • M.Sc. / M.Tech in Bioinformatics / Computational Biology or any branch of Life Sciences

  • Must be selected through any of the following processes:

    1. National Eligibility Tests (CSIR-UGC NET) including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE.

    2. National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IITs, IISc, IISERs, NISER, etc.

Fellowship:

💰 Rs. 37,000/- per month plus admissible HRA as per DBT rules.
