Vivekanand Education Society’s Institute of Technology (VESIT), Mumbai, is an educational institution established under the Vivekanand Education Society. The Society was founded in 1959 by Shri Hashu Advani, along with ten other members, with the vision of providing quality education to the youth of India.

The organization began with a modest setup of 256 students and six classrooms at Chembur Camp. Over the years, Vivekanand Education Society has expanded considerably and now operates a large educational campus comprising multiple buildings and institutions, ranging from school-level education to Ph.D. centres.

The Society currently has more than 2,000 teaching and non-teaching staff and serves a large student community across its various institutions. VESIT continues to focus on academic excellence, professional education, research and the overall development of students.
