Sreenivasa Institute of Technology and Management Studies (SITAMS) was established in the academic year 1998-99 under Srinivasa Trust by prominent industrialist Late Dr. D.K. Audikesavulu, Ex-M.P., Former TTD Chairman, and Late Smt. D.A. Sathya Prabha, Ex-MLA, Chittoor.
Over the last 27 years, SITAMS has made remarkable contributions in teaching, research, and consultancy in technical education and management studies under the guidance of Sri K. Ranganatham, Chairman, Chittoor.
The institution offers UG and PG programmes under JNTUA, Ananthapuramu and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi. SITAMS received UGC 2(f) and 12(b) status in 2013 and has been granted autonomous status from 2024-2025 to 2028-2029. The institution is NBA accredited for B.Tech programmes in CSE, ECE, EEE, and MCA.
