Job Description
The selected Junior Research Fellow will work on the development and optimization of fabrication process flows for creating fluorinated patterns in graphene to achieve bandgap opening for next-generation nanoelectronic devices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing fabrication processes for graphene-based devices.
- Maintaining laboratory and experimental records.
- Preparing technical reports and research publications.
- Collaborating with industry partners.
- Supporting research activities related to semiconductor and nanomaterial technologies.
Essential Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
- Valid GATE or UGC-NET qualification.
And one of the following:
- M.Tech/B.Tech in Electronics Engineering
- M.Tech/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
- M.Sc. in Physical Science
- M.Sc. in Chemical Science
- M.Sc. in Material Science
Desirable Qualifications
Candidates having experience in the following areas will be preferred:
- Semiconductor device physics.
- Graphene and other two-dimensional (2D) nanomaterials.
- Scientific writing and technical presentations.
- Research publications and laboratory experience.
Age Limit
- Maximum 35 years at the time of appointment.
- Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government of India norms.
