Project Title
“Design and development of robotic additive manufacturing system for sustainable construction”
Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in one of the following disciplines or an allied area:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Materials Engineering
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Mechatronics
- Robotics
Candidates should also have practical/hands-on research experience in relevant areas such as:
- Additive manufacturing
- Materials processing
- Product design
- Mechanical characterization
- CAD/CAM
- Experimental research in advanced manufacturing
Desirable Qualifications
Preference may be given to candidates with practical experience in developing, processing or characterising:
- Cement-based composites
- Polymer/composite materials
- Additive manufacturing feedstocks
- Robotic manufacturing systems
- Automated manufacturing setups
Candidates with interdisciplinary experience combining robotics, additive manufacturing and materials engineering may be particularly suitable for the project.
Salary
₹58,000/- per month
