The Central University of Odisha invites applications from eligible candidates for temporary positions of Research Assistant and Field Investigator under the Department of English Language and Literature (DELL).

Essential Qualifications
Research Assistant
Candidates should possess any of the following:
- Ph.D.
- M.Phil.
- NET
- Postgraduate qualification in any Social Science discipline
Candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% marks.
Field Investigator
Candidates should have:
- Graduate degree in a Social Science discipline
- Minimum 55% marks
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and translation in both Saora and Odia
- Willingness to travel for fieldwork, including rural and interior areas
Desirable Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Effective communication skills in the Saora language
- Ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders during fieldwork
Salary Details
Research Assistant: ₹37,000/- per month as per ICSSR guidelines
Field Investigator: ₹20,000/- per month as per ICSSR guidelines
Job Location
Rayagada District, Odisha
The Field Investigator may be required to travel to rural and interior areas as part of fieldwork activities.
