Project Title:
“Digitising the Puya Manuscripts in Meitei Mayek Script: Preservation of Endangered Indigenous Knowledge Systems of Manipur, India”
Research Positions
1. Research Assistant
Vacancy: 01 Post
Remuneration: ₹32,000 + 10% HRA per month
Project Tenure: 12 months, co-terminus with the project
Essential Qualification
Candidates should possess an:
- M.A. in English
- M.A. in History
- M.A. in Sociology
- M.A. in Anthropology
- M.A. in Library & Information Science
Desirable Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Knowledge of the Manipuri language.
- Previous experience working with photography and digitization equipment.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
2. Technical Assistant and Field Coordinator
Vacancy: 01 Post
Remuneration: ₹25,000 + 10% HRA per month
Project Tenure: 10 months
Essential Qualification
- Graduate degree.
- Knowledge of Meetei Mayek.
- Computer skills.
Desirable Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Knowledge of the Manipuri language.
- Previous experience working with photography and digitization equipment.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
