Jeppiaar Institute of Technology is conducting a Walk-In Interview 2026 for the following faculty and non-teaching positions:
1. Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor
Departments:
- Computer Science and Engineering
- Information Technology
- Artificial Intelligence and Data Science
Qualification:
- Ph.D. in CSE / IT / Artificial Intelligence and Data Science / Computer Science and Business Systems
- M.E. candidates, including freshers and experienced candidates, may also apply.
Experience:
- Professor: Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industry experience, including at least 3 years at a position equivalent to Associate Professor, along with 10 reputed publications.
- Associate Professor: Minimum 8 years of experience, including at least 2 years of post-Ph.D. experience, along with 6 reputed publications.
Candidate Profile:
Candidates should possess good communication skills and demonstrate the ability to contribute to teaching, research, R&D, consultancy, and institutional development. Faculty members who can successfully execute R&D and consultancy projects will be preferred. Candidates capable of offering value-added courses will also be given preference.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver lectures and practical sessions in assigned subjects.
- Guide students in academic, project, and research activities.
- Contribute to departmental research and reputed publications.
- Undertake R&D and consultancy activities.
- Support departmental and institutional academic initiatives.
- Contribute to accreditation and institutional development activities.
2. Residential Hostel Warden – Male / Female
Joining: Immediate
Qualification: Any Degree / Postgraduate Degree preferred.
Experience: Experience in hostel administration will be an added advantage.
Candidates should have good communication skills and a genuine interest in student welfare, discipline, safety, and hostel administration.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily hostel activities and maintain discipline.
- Ensure the safety and security of hostel residents.
- Maintain hostel attendance and student movement records.
- Handle student grievances and provide necessary support.
- Monitor hostel cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, security, and mess staff.
- Ensure compliance with hostel rules and regulations.
- Conduct regular room inspections.
- Handle emergency situations and inform higher authorities when necessary.
- Maintain hostel occupancy and leave-permission records.
- Organize hostel meetings and communicate important instructions.
- Coordinate with parents regarding student welfare when required.
3. Residential Hostel Attender

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Hostel Warden in daily hostel activities.
- Support housekeeping and maintenance work.

4. Lab Instructor – Physics

Candidates should possess relevant subject knowledge in Physics and good communication skills.

5. Accounts Assistant – Tally Knowledge
Qualification: Tally knowledge is required.

- Handle billing and financial documentation.
- Assist in preparing financial reports using Tally.
