PDPM-Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM) Jabalpur has invited applications from interested and eligible candidates for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position under an ANRF-PMECRG funded research project.

The selected candidate will work on the research project titled:

“Post-Quantum Secure and Verifiable Auction Framework for National e-Governance.”

The project focuses on designing and developing a post-quantum secure and publicly verifiable auction framework for National e-Governance applications, with emphasis on addressing future quantum-era security risks in e-auction and e-tendering systems.

Research Problem / Project Description

The project aims to design and develop a post-quantum secure and publicly verifiable auction framework for National e-Governance applications.

The research will address potential future quantum-era security risks associated with electronic auction and e-tendering systems.

The project therefore involves areas related to:

• Post-quantum security
• Cryptography
• Publicly verifiable systems
• Secure e-auction frameworks
• E-tendering systems
• National e-Governance applications
• Mathematical foundations of cryptographic systems

Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for the JRF position should possess:

• B.E./B.Tech with
• M.E./M.Tech or equivalent
• In Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), or a related discipline
• Candidates should also have a valid qualified national-level examination, such as GATE/NET etc.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for the JRF position is:

35 years

Desirable Qualifications

Candidates with knowledge or experience in the following areas will be given preference:

• Cryptography
• Post-quantum cryptography
• Linear algebra
• Abstract algebra
• Programming

Candidates with a strong background in these areas may therefore be particularly relevant to the research work involved in the project.

Salary / Fellowship

The selected Junior Research Fellow will receive:

₹37,000/- per month + HRA as per Institute norms

Duration of Appointment

The appointment will initially be for one year.

The position may be extended for another year depending upon:

• Satisfactory performance
• Availability of funds
