The selected Research Associate will work on the SERB-sponsored project titled “Institutions for Promoting Gender Parity in Indian Labor Market.”
The project is being undertaken by the Department of Economics, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, under the supervision of Prof. Mausumi Das.
Vacancy Details
There is 1 Research Associate (RA-II) position available for the project.
The appointment is initially for 8 months, with the expected joining date of 01 November 2026. Continuation of the Research Associateship will depend on satisfactory performance.
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification
Candidates must have:
- A Master’s Degree in Economics
- Minimum 7 CGPA or 70% marks
Desirable Skills
Preference will be given to candidates possessing:
- Good writing skills
- Knowledge of STATA
- Knowledge of R
- Knowledge of Python
Candidates with relevant research exposure and strong quantitative/data-analysis skills may find these desirable competencies particularly useful for the project.
Salary / Remuneration
The selected Research Associate will receive:
₹61,000 per month + HRA @ 30%
HRA will be applicable only when the selected candidate is not availing University accommodation/hostel.
