Vacancy Details

Rajiv Gandhi University invites eligible candidates to attend a walk-in interview for the position of Teaching Assistant in the Department of Agricultural Extension & Communication, under the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences.

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • M.Sc. in Agricultural Extension or Extension Education.
  • A minimum of 55% marks, or an equivalent grade, from a recognized Indian or foreign university.
  • Must have qualified the ICAR-National Eligibility Test (NET) or an equivalent NET.
  • Candidates holding a Ph.D. are exempt from the NET requirement.
  • Candidates with a Ph.D., NET qualification and teaching experience will receive preference.

Salary

  • Consolidated remuneration: ₹1,000 per class.
  • Maximum monthly remuneration: ₹40,000.

Nature and Duration of Appointment

The appointment is purely temporary for one semester. The university may extend the appointment if required.
