The College of Agriculture and Research Station, Kanpa, Mahasamund, is inviting applications for a temporary Guest Teacher position in Plant Pathology.
Available Position
- Guest Teacher – Department of Plant Pathology: 01 Post.
Teaching Responsibility: B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons.) degree programme.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the Guest Teacher position in Plant Pathology must possess the following qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Plant Pathology from the Agricultural Faculty with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade of 6.50 on a 10.00-point scale.
- Candidates must have a good academic record.
- For Master’s degree holders, NET (National Eligibility Test) qualification is compulsory, along with at least one publication in a NAAS-rated refereed journal.
NET Exemption for Ph.D. Holders
Ph.D. holders may be exempted from NET subject to the following conditions:
- Must have completed the prescribed coursework in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009.
- Must possess at least two full-length research publications in journals with a NAAS rating of 4 or above as on the last date of application submission.
- Ph.D. holders who have not completed the prescribed coursework are not eligible for NET exemption under this provision.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 40 years.
- Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC, ST, OBC and Women candidates as per Chhattisgarh Government rules.
Salary / Honorarium Details
The honorarium will be determined according to the candidate’s educational qualifications and research credentials.

Employment Duration
The Guest Teacher engagement will be purely temporary for a period of one year, subject to the applicable university conditions.

Candidates will be selected through the following stages:
