  • Teaching Associate – Department of Agronomy: 01 Post

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the Teaching Associate position must fulfil the following educational qualifications:

  1. Ph.D. in the relevant subject OR Master’s degree in the relevant subject.
  2. Bachelor’s degree of 4/5 years with first division or equivalent overall grade point average.
  3. At least three years of teaching or research experience, demonstrated through fellowship, associateship, training or other engagements.
  4. At least one research paper published in a Science Citation Index (SCI) journal or a NAAS-rated journal with a rating of 4.0 or above.
  5. NET qualification is required for candidates holding a postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences (3-year Bachelor’s and 2-year Master’s).

Age Limit

  • Men: Maximum 40 years.
  • Women: Maximum 45 years.

Age Calculation: The upper age limit will be calculated as on the date of the walk-in interview.

Experience Required

Candidates must possess a minimum of three years of relevant teaching or research experience, supported by fellowship, associateship, training or other relevant engagements.

Salary Details

Selected candidates will receive the following monthly remuneration:

  • Master’s Degree Holders: Rs. 61,000 per month plus applicable HRA.
  • Ph.D. Holders: Rs. 67,000 per month plus applicable HRA.

HRA will be provided according to existing Andhra Pradesh State Government rates, which may be revised from time to time.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be conducted through the following stages:

  1. Registration and document verification before 10:00 AM on the interview day.
  2. Walk-in interview before the selection committee.
  3. Medical examination of selected candidates at their own expense before appointment.

The decision of the selection committee will be final.
