The U.T. Administration of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Professor in English for Post Graduate courses at Government College, Daman.
The appointment will be made on a Short-Term Contract basis for a period of six months.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should fulfill the eligibility requirements prescribed under the UGC Regulations, 2016.
The candidate should have:
- A Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
- NET/SET/SLET or Ph.D. qualification as prescribed by the applicable UGC regulations.
- Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 are exempted from the NET requirement, subject to the applicable provisions.
Age Limit
The candidate’s age should not exceed 35 years as on the date of advertisement.
Salary / Remuneration
Selected candidates appointed on a Short-Term Contract basis will receive:
₹50,000 per month (consolidated)
The remuneration will be paid as per the applicable UGC guidelines.
