The Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET), Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad), has invited applications for Lecturer and Assistant Placement Consultant positions on a contractual basis.
CIPET, formerly known as the Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology, was established in 1968 by the Government of India with assistance from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The institute focuses on education, training and technical development in plastics and polymer-related fields, including design, CAD/CAM/CAE, tooling and mould manufacturing, production engineering, testing and quality assurance.

- Lecturer – Plastics/Polymer
- Lecturer – Mechanical Engineering
- Lecturer – Mathematics
- Lecturer – English
- Lecturer – Physics

- Assistant Placement Consultant
Eligibility Criteria
Lecturer – Plastics/Polymer & Mechanical Engineering
Candidates should possess:
- Full-time Bachelor’s Degree with First Class or equivalent in Engineering/Technology in the relevant discipline.
If the candidate has a full-time Master’s Degree in Engineering/Technology, First Class or equivalent is required at either the full-time Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
Experience
Candidates should have:
- At least 1 year of teaching experience in a Polytechnic/Engineering College.
Preference will be given to candidates holding M.E./M.Tech. with First Class.
Alternative Qualification Route
Candidates may also qualify with:
- Full-time Bachelor’s Degree with First Class or equivalent in Engineering/Technology in the relevant discipline.
- Where applicable, a full-time Master’s Degree in Engineering/Technology with First Class or equivalent at Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
- Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
Lecturer – Mathematics, English, Physics & Computer Science/IT
Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess:
- Full-time First Class Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline.
- First Class or equivalent at the full-time Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
Experience
- At least 1 year teaching experience in a Polytechnic/Engineering College.
Assistant Placement Consultant
Candidates should possess either:
Option 1:
- Full-time Graduate degree in any discipline.
- 2 years of experience in the relevant area.
OR
Option 2:
- MBA in HRM/PM
- 1 year of experience in the relevant area.
Salary / Remuneration

| Assistant Placement Consultant | ₹35,000 per month – Consolidated |
Nature of Appointment
The positions are offered on a contractual basis.
