Vacancy Details

Position Vacancies Monthly Remuneration
Senior Consultant – Civil Engineering 01 ₹50,000 – ₹70,000
Senior Consultant – Electrical Engineering 01 ₹50,000 – ₹70,000

Note: The final remuneration will be decided by the Selection Committee based on the candidate’s experience and suitability.

Eligibility Criteria

Senior Consultant – Civil Engineering

Candidates should possess:

  • B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering.
  • Extensive professional experience in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience in civil engineering works and project execution.
  • Must be a retired Executive Engineer or above from:
    • Central Government
    • State Government
    • Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)
    • Autonomous Bodies

Senior Consultant – Electrical Engineering

Candidates should possess:

  • B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering.
  • Extensive professional experience in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in electrical engineering works and project execution.
  • Must be a retired Executive Engineer or above from:
    • Central Government
    • State Government
    • Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)
    • Autonomous Bodies

Duration of Engagement

  • Initial appointment for 6 months.
  • Extendable based on satisfactory performance.
  • Maximum engagement:
    • Up to 2 years, or
    • Until attaining 70 years of age,
      whichever is earlier.

IGNOU reserves the right to terminate the engagement at any stage without assigning any reason.

Selection Process

  • Applications will be shortlisted based on eligibility and experience.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.
  • Merely fulfilling the eligibility criteria does not guarantee an interview call.
  • No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
