Job Details
The available position is Research Associate-I (RA-I) under the Department of Information Technology. The appointment will be made on a contract basis for a period of two years.
The project focuses on the development of an AI-based embedded system for spacecraft health monitoring, making experience in artificial intelligence, embedded systems and related technologies particularly relevant.
Essential Qualification
Candidates must possess either a Ph.D. or equivalent degree, or an M.E./M.Tech. degree with at least three years of research, teaching, or design and development experience along with at least one research paper published in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
Candidates having experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Embedded Systems, Python Programming, Space Systems, Edge Computing, Signal Processing, Data Analytics or related research areas will be preferred.
Experience in implementing research projects, preparing research publications and software development will also be considered desirable.
Salary
The selected Research Associate-I will receive a remuneration of Rs. 58,000 per month plus 20% HRA, as per the applicable ISRO/DoS RESPOND norms for Research Associate-I.
Duration
The appointment is initially for a period of two years.
