PDPM Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM), Jabalpur, invites applications from eligible candidates for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position under an ANRF-PMECRG-funded research project titled “Synergistic Fusion of 6G Molecular Communication and Terahertz Systems for Early Cancer Detection and Targeted Drug Delivery.”

Research Project Details
The project aims to integrate 6G molecular communication with terahertz systems to advance early cancer detection and targeted drug delivery.
The major research objectives include:
- Developing technologies for early in vivo cancer detection.
- Improving cancer-stage classification and tissue localization.
- Optimizing nanomachine-based drug delivery.
- Analysing terahertz wave attenuation.
- Developing interfaces with external devices.
Essential Qualifications
Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:
- B.E./B.Tech with First Class or equivalent in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) or an allied branch relevant to the project.
- M.E./M.Tech with First Class or equivalent in ECE or an allied branch relevant to the project.
Preference: Candidates qualified in GATE or NET will be given preference.
Desirable Qualifications
Candidates with knowledge or experience in the following areas will be preferred:
- Communication systems
- Signal processing
- Related research areas relevant to the project
Salary and Fellowship
The selected candidate will receive a monthly fellowship of ₹37,000 plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per institute norms.
Duration of Appointment
- Initial Duration: One year
- Extension: Up to one additional year, subject to satisfactory performance
Age Limit
The maximum age limit is 35 years.
