Title of the Project
Critical and Strategic Mineral Prospectivity in the Bangriposhi Sector, Northern Odisha: Tectono-Magmatic Insights from the Singhbhum Craton-North Singhbhum Mobile Belt (NSMB) Interface
The Project Associate-I will work under this research project sponsored by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), Government of India.
Essential Qualification
Candidates should possess a Postgraduate Degree in any of the following disciplines from a recognized university or equivalent:
- Geology
- Applied Geology
- Earth Sciences
- Environmental Sciences
Desirable Qualifications / Skills
Preference will be given to candidates with experience or knowledge in areas including:
- Economic geology and mineral exploration
- Critical and strategic minerals
- Geological mapping and field investigations
- Mantle petrography and mineralogical characterization
- Geochemistry and interpretation of geochemical datasets
- R&D experience in academic institutions or industry
- CSIR-UGC NET qualification
Salary / Pay Scale
The project provides the following monthly remuneration:

Nature and Duration of Appointment
The position is purely temporary and will be renewed each year subject to satisfactory performance.
The maximum tenure is three years, and the position will remain co-terminus with the project.
Only shortlisted candidates will be informed through email regarding the in-person interview.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
