Job Title:

University Deputy Director of Physical Education and Sports

Essential Qualifications:

A.
i) Ph.D. in Physical Education, Physical Education and Sports, or Sports Science.
Candidates from outside the university system must also possess at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) at the Master’s Degree level.

ii) Eight years of experience as a University Assistant Director or College Director of Physical Education and Sports.

iii) Proven record of producing teams/athletes performing well in state/national/inter-university/combined university competitions.

iv) Experience in organizing competitions and conducting coaching camps of at least two weeks’ duration.

v) Must have passed the physical fitness test as per UGC (Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and Other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Other Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education) Regulations, 2018.

OR

B.
An Olympic Games/World Cup/World Championship medal winner who holds at least a Postgraduate degree.

Remuneration:

Pay Band: ₹1,31,400/- (Academic Level – 13A)
