Organization Profile: National Institute of Technology Puducherry (NITPY) is located in Karaikal, a coastal enclave in the basin of river Kaveri. It is one of the ten new NITs in the Union Territory of Puducherry. Despite being relatively young, NIT-Py is dedicated to producing competent and responsible technocrats who can contribute to the nation’s growth and prosperity. Since the academic year 2010-11, students have been admitted through JEE Mains, with 50% of seats reserved for candidates from Puducherry, Karaikal, Mahe, Yanam, and the remaining 50% filled on an all India basis.

Note:
Candidates should bring all relevant original certificates for document verification and a self-attested copy of all relevant certificates to be submitted to the Head of Department (Humanities & Social Sciences) on the day of the interview.
The interview for the candidates is scheduled to be held on the same day, i.e., 23rd January 2024 (Tuesday) at 11:00 A.M.
Terms and Conditions:
1. The duration of the engagement is strictly limited to one semester only.
2. If chosen, both parties must provide a one-month notice to terminate the engagement during the specified tenure.
3. Candidates with a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline will be given preference.
4. The consolidated remuneration will be determined at the time of joining and will remain unchanged throughout the engagement period.
5. The selected candidate must be prepared to commence immediately.
6. Any form of canvassing will disqualify a candidate.
7. The institute reserves the right to accept or reject a candidate without providing any reasons.
8. This position does not guarantee continuous employment or permanent status in the future.
9. The institute may postpone or cancel the advertisement at any stage of the process without providing any reasons, if necessary.
10. Candidates must adhere to the specified reporting time during the interview.
