Position Overview

Qualification Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Academic Leadership

  • Deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels.
  • Promote outcome-based education and academic excellence.

Research & Innovation

  • Establish and strengthen a research-driven academic culture.

  • Secure externally funded research projects from government and industry agencies.
  • Lead patent development, technology transfer, innovation, and commercialization initiatives.
  • Mentor faculty members and research scholars in research activities.

Ph.D. Guidance & Mentoring

  • Supervise Ph.D., M.Tech., and B.Tech. research projects.
  • Develop advanced research laboratories and centers of excellence.
  • Encourage participation in hackathons, innovation challenges, and research competitions.

Industry Collaboration

  • Build partnerships with industries, startups, technology companies, and research organizations.
  • Facilitate internships, consultancy assignments, certifications, and placement opportunities.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, FDPs, and industry interaction programs.

Academic Administration

  • Contribute to departmental planning, budgeting, and policy formulation.
  • Lead accreditation and ranking initiatives including NBA, NAAC, NIRF, QS Rankings, and related frameworks.
  • Participate in university governance and strategic development initiatives.

Faculty Development

  • Mentor junior faculty members in teaching, research, publications, and career advancement.
  • Promote interdisciplinary learning and collaborative teaching practices.

Institutional Contribution

  • Support admissions, outreach activities, branding, international collaborations, and placements.
  • Represent the university at national and international academic forums.
  • Contribute to institutional growth, innovation, and global engagement initiatives.
