Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL), Patiala, through the office of the Deputy Chief Engineer, Hydel Projects, has invited an E-Tender for selection of a consultant for preparation of a Pre-Feasibility Report (PFR) for proposed Pump Storage Hydroelectric Projects in Punjab.

The consultancy assignment relates to the preparation of a Pre-Feasibility Report for the execution of Pump Storage Hydroelectric Projects between the reservoirs of the proposed projects. The tender covers a 206 MW Shahpurkandi (SKPP) Project and a 600 MW RSD Project.

Scope of Consultancy

The notice invites eligible consulting agencies/professionals to participate in the tender process for preparation of a Pre-Feasibility Report associated with Pump Storage Hydroelectric Projects.

Pump storage projects are an important component of modern electricity infrastructure because they can help store energy and support grid balancing. The proposed consultancy assignment therefore involves technical and project-planning work related to the identified hydroelectric projects.

The successful consultant will be required to undertake the work and prepare the PFR in accordance with the requirements and specifications prescribed by PSPCL in the detailed tender documents.
