Project Overview

The selected candidate will work on a research project focused on understanding immune responses associated with severe dengue infection. The project aims to advance scientific knowledge in infectious diseases and immunology, contributing to better disease management and therapeutic strategies.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess any one of the following:

Option 1

• Four-Year Bachelor’s Degree in:
  • Natural Sciences
  • Agricultural Sciences
  • Biomedical Engineering
  • Biotechnology
  • Medicine
  • Related Disciplines

OR

• Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences or Agricultural Sciences

OR

• BVSc Degree

AND

• Minimum 4 years of experience in:
  • Research & Development
  • Academic Institutions
  • Industrial Research Organizations
  • Scientific Activities and Services

Option 2

• Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology (Biological Sciences)

AND

• Minimum 2 years of experience in:
  • R&D Institutions
  • Academic Organizations
  • Scientific Research Establishments

Option 3

• Ph.D. in:
  • Life Sciences
  • Bioengineering
  • Biotechnology
  • Related Disciplines

AND

• At least one first-author peer-reviewed publication indexed in databases such as:
  • PubMed
  • Scopus
  • Similar recognized databases

Desirable Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:

• Infectious Disease Research
• Mammalian Cell Culture
• Handling Pathogenic Viruses
• Protein Expression and Purification

Salary Details

Monthly Emoluments: ₹57,000 + 10% HRA

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 50 Years
• Age calculated as on the date of interview.

Tenure

• Initial appointment for 6 months.
• Renewable based on satisfactory performance.
• Purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
