CHARUSAT offers 72 Programs through 9 different institutes, 6 faculties, 4 major centers/ cells at the Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Research level Ph.D. programs in numerous disciplines, and their specializations.

Designation:  Project Associates (level I) (04 positions) 

Project Title: “Multidisciplinary Approach towards Sustainable Bioconversion of Waste to Value-added Products”

Funded by: DST, Government of India under DST-PURSE scheme

Qualification:  

• Project Associates (level I) (04 positions)

Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree in Natural Science (Physical, Chemical, and Biological sciences) or in Engg. Or Tech or in Pharmacy from a recognized University or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade.

Desirable Qualifications:
NET-JRF/LS/GATE/GPAT/equivalent national level exams qualified candidates shall be preferred

• Project Associates (level II) (01 position)

Essential Qualifications:
(i) Master’s degree in Natural Science (Physical, Chemical, and Biological sciences) or in Engg. Or Tech or in Pharmacy from a recognized University or equivalent with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade
(ii) 2 years experience in R & D in industrial and Academic Institutions or Science & Technology organizations and Scientific activities and services

Desirable Qualifications:
i) NET-JRF/LS/GATE/GPAT/equivalent national level exams qualified candidates shall be preferred
ii) Candidates having experience of handling sophisticated instruments (chromatography, spectroscopic, morphology) may be preferred.
iii) Candidates with laboratory experience in handling molecular biology techniques, basic microbial methods, enzymatic and other allied analytical methods, proficiency in scientific writing, basic bioinformatics tools may have advantage.

Age Limit: Upto 35 years (upper age) as on the last date of application and as per DST guidelines. Upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ Women/ Differently abled candidates.

Fellowship:

(i) For NET-JRF/LS/GATE/GPAT/ equivalent national level exams qualified candidates:

(Rs. 31,000 p.m. + 2,790 -9% HRA = 33,790) for Project Associate-level I
(Rs. 35,000 p.m. + 3,150 -9% HRA = 38,150) for Project Associate-level II

(ii) For others (Non-NET/GATE/GPAT/Equivalent exam qualified candidates):

(Rs. 25,000 p.m. + 2,250 -9% HRA = 27,250) for Project Associate-level I
(Rs. 28,000 p.m. + 2,520 -9% HRA = 30,520) for Project Associate-level II
