Educational Qualification
Candidates should meet the qualification requirements prescribed by UGC Regulations.
- M.A. in History with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
- The specialization may include:
- Ancient History
- Medieval History
- Modern History
- NET/JRF qualification is required/preferred as applicable under UGC norms.
- Candidates holding a Ph.D. in History will be given preference.
Honorarium
Selected Guest Faculty will receive:
₹1,500 per lecture
subject to a maximum of:
₹50,000 per month
Tenure of Appointment
The appointment is purely temporary.
The selected Guest Faculty member will continue:
- Until a regular faculty member is appointed, or
- Until the end of the even semester of Academic Year 2026–27, whichever is applicable.
The selected candidate may be required to join duty immediately.
