Key Qualifications
Engineering Departments
- B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in relevant disciplines with First Class or equivalent.
- Relevant departments include:
- Computer Science & Engineering
- Electrical & Energy Engineering
- Metallurgical & Materials Engineering
Arts, Science, Commerce & Humanities Departments
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks in the relevant subject.
- UGC-NET/CSIR-NET/SLET/SET qualification required.
- Ph.D. candidates meeting UGC Regulations 2009/2016 are exempt from NET/SLET/SET.
- Alternatively, Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked among the top 500 in QS, THE, or ARWU rankings.
Salary Details
- Consolidated Salary: ₹57,700 per month
- 8 days leave on a pro-rata basis in a calendar year.
- No residential accommodation, official transport, leave encashment, or other allowances applicable to regular employees.
Relaxation Benefits
- 5% relaxation in marks for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PwBD candidates.
- Candidates with Master’s degree obtained before 19 September 1991 and possessing a Ph.D. are also eligible for 5% relaxation.
