The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Pune (IIIT Pune) has announced recruitment for Non-Teaching positions including Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Innovation Officer (CIO), and Manager (Incubation & Strategy). Eligible candidates with relevant qualifications and professional experience in business administration, leadership, start-up ecosystems, incubation, innovation, strategy, or management can apply through the online recruitment portal.

The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Pune is one of the Indian Institutes of Information Technology established under the Public-Private Partnership Scheme of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The recruitment drive includes the following positions:

  • Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – 01 Post
  • Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) – 01 Post
  • Manager (Incubation & Strategy) – 01 Post

Eligibility Criteria

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Candidates should possess a Master’s Degree in any discipline, preferably in Engineering or Management, from a recognized University or Institute.

Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in business administration or leadership. Candidates should also have a proven track record in business development, mentoring start-ups, or providing strategic leadership within an incubation ecosystem.

Chief Innovation Officer (CIO)

Candidates should possess a Master’s Degree in any discipline, preferably in Engineering or Management, from a recognized University or Institute.

A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in business administration or leadership is required. Candidates should demonstrate experience in facilitating business development, mentoring start-ups, or providing strategic leadership within an incubation ecosystem.

Manager (Incubation & Strategy)

Candidates should hold a Graduation Degree in any discipline, preferably in Engineering or Management, from a recognized University or Institute.

Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years of relevant experience in a start-up ecosystem, incubation centre, innovation hub, accelerator, or corporate strategy role.

Salary / Pay Scale

The selected candidates will receive the following monthly remuneration:

  • Chief Executive Officer (CEO): Rs. 1,50,000 per month
  • Chief Innovation Officer (CIO): Rs. 1,25,000 per month
  • Manager (Incubation & Strategy): Rs. 80,000 per month
