Rashtriya Raksha University is a specialized security and strategic education university located in Gujarat. Job Details
The available position is Assistant Professor in the Department of Law. The appointment will be made on a contractual basis.
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Law or an allied field related to National Security with at least 55% marks, or an equivalent grade from a recognized Indian university or an accredited foreign university.
In addition to the prescribed academic qualification, candidates should have cleared UGC/CSIR NET or a similar UGC-accredited examination such as SLET/SET, or should have been awarded a Ph.D. in accordance with the applicable UGC regulations.
Candidates who registered for their Ph.D. before 11 July 2009 may be exempted from the NET/SLET/SET requirement, subject to the prescribed conditions. These include obtaining the Ph.D. through regular mode, evaluation of the thesis by at least two external examiners, completion of an open viva-voce, publication of two research papers from the Ph.D. work with at least one in a refereed journal, and making at least two presentations at conferences or seminars based on the Ph.D. research.
NET/SLET/SET will also not be required for Master’s degree programmes in disciplines where the relevant eligibility test is not conducted.
Alternatively, candidates holding a Ph.D. from a university or institution ranked among the top 500 in world university rankings at any time by QS, Times Higher Education (THE), or the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) may also be eligible as specified in the recruitment notification.
Salary
The selected Assistant Professor will receive a pay scale of Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 1,10,000.
