The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Guwahati, has invited applications for the post of Secretary to Registrar in the Administration department. The position is a regular appointment and carries Pay Level-8, Cell-1, with a basic pay of Rs. 47,600/- per month.

Eligible candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree and the required administrative experience can apply through the prescribed online application process followed by submission of the signed hard copy and supporting documents.

Educational Qualification

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized Institute or University.

Applicants must also have English typing proficiency with a minimum speed of 40 words per minute.

Experience

Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience as a Personal Assistant or in an equivalent position in any of the following:

  • Central or State Government
  • Government organizations
  • Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)
  • Universities
  • Research Institutions
  • Central or State autonomous institutions
  • Other recognized institutions of repute

Desirable Qualification

Knowledge of Computer Applications will be desirable.

Pay Scale

The selected candidate will be appointed at:

Pay Level-8, Cell-1 of the Pay Matrix

Basic Pay: Rs. 47,600/- per month

Other applicable allowances and benefits will be governed by the institute’s rules.

  • General/Other Candidates: Rs. 500/-
  • SC/ST/PwBD Candidates: No fee

The application fee must be paid through the payment link available inside the recruitment portal. Once paid, the fee will not be refunded or adjusted under any circumstances.
