About Rashtriya Raksha University
Rashtriya Raksha University is an Institution of National Importance of India and is dedicated to education, research and training in national security and policing.
The university was established by the Parliament of India under Act No. 31 of 2020. It aims to develop an integrated academic, research and training ecosystem for national security and police studies.

1. Assistant Professor (Research)
Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for the Assistant Professor (Research) position should possess a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks, or an equivalent grade in a point-scale system.
The Master’s degree should be in:
- Maritime Law
- Relevant subject
- Allied subject
The qualification must be from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
Pay Scale
₹70,000 to ₹92,239 per month
The appointment will be contractual as per the terms and conditions prescribed by Rashtriya Raksha University.
2. Subject Matter Specialist – Russian Language
RRU is also inviting applications for the position of Subject Matter Specialist – Russian Language.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess a Graduate degree in Russian Language with a minimum of 55% marks, or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed.
The qualification should be in the concerned, relevant or allied subject from a recognized/accredited university.
Desirable Qualifications
The following will be considered advantageous:
- Proficiency in spoken English
- Teaching experience
Candidates who can effectively communicate in English and have prior teaching experience may receive preference during the selection process.
Pay Scale
₹1,00,000 to ₹1,25,000 per month
The position is contractual.
3. Subject Matter Specialist – Arabic Language
RRU has also invited applications for Subject Matter Specialist – Arabic Language.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess a Graduate degree in Arabic Language with a minimum of 55% marks, or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever applicable.
The degree should be in the concerned, relevant or allied subject from an accredited university.
Additional Requirement
The candidate must be a native speaker of Arabic.
Desirable Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates possessing:
- Proficiency in spoken English
- Teaching experience
Candidates with relevant academic or teaching experience in Arabic language education may be particularly suited to this position.
