Project Scientist-I – Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for the Project Scientist-I position should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in one of the following disciplines:

  • Biomedical Engineering
  • Electronics and Communication Engineering
  • Electrical and Electronics Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Mechatronics Engineering
  • Instrumentation Engineering
  • Computer Science
  • Closely related discipline

The degree must be obtained from a recognized institution.

Required Experience

Candidates should have a minimum of two years of professional or research experience in the design and development of:

  • Biomedical devices
  • Scientific instrumentation
  • Precision instrumentation

The position requires practical engineering and research capabilities rather than purely theoretical knowledge.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate hands-on experience covering both hardware and software.

Research Area

The selected Project Scientist-I will work on the development of a droplet-microfluidic-based high-throughput 3D organoid generator.

Stipend / Salary

₹56,000 per month + 10% HRA

The project duration is 3 years, subject to the applicable project terms and funding.
