Indian Institute of Technology Mandi invites applications from eligible Indian nationals for a temporary Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position under an Aeronautics Research & Development Board (AR&DB)-funded research project.

Project Details

Project Title:
Design, Analysis and Development of Photostrictive Composite Actuator

Funding Agency: Aeronautics Research & Development Board (AR&DB)

Project Investigators:

  • Dr. Rajeev Kumar
  • Dr. Vishal Singh Chauhan
  • Dr. Benudhar Sahoo

Project Duration: 36 months

Project End Date: 1st August 2028

Essential Qualification

Candidates should possess:

M.Tech./M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering

Fellowship

The selected JRF will receive:

₹37,000 per month + HRA, as applicable.

Appointment Duration

The appointment is project-based and will initially be for the project duration or as specified in the official notification, subject to satisfactory performance and project requirements.

The project is scheduled to continue until 1st August 2028.
