Essential Qualifications

Junior Faculty – Leather Garments

Candidates must possess either:

• Master’s Degree (minimum 2 years duration) after Graduation in:
  • Design
  • Leather Design
  • Apparel Design
  • Garment Manufacturing Technology
  • Leather Goods & Accessories Design
  • Leather Garments

OR

• PG Diploma (minimum 2 years duration) after Graduation in the above disciplines with minimum 55% marks.

OR

• Master’s Degree/PG Diploma in any discipline along with a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma (minimum 3 years duration) in:
  • Design
  • Leather Design
  • Apparel Design
  • Garment Manufacturing Technology
  • Leather Goods & Accessories Design
  • Leather Garments

with minimum 55% marks from a recognized institution.

Junior Lab Assistant – School of Fashion Design

Essential:

• 8th Pass

Desirable:

• 10th Pass

Junior Lab Assistant – Leather Goods & Accessories Design

Essential:

• 12th Pass or above

Desirable Skills

Junior Faculty

• Hands-on experience in:
  • TUKACAD
  • REACHCAD
  • OPTITEX
• Industrial experience in Leather Garments preferred.

Junior Lab Assistant (Fashion Design)

• Machine operation and maintenance.
• Pattern making and sample development.
• Student demonstrations and practical training.

Experience Requirements

Junior Faculty – Leather Garments

• Minimum 1 year experience in Leather Garments Pattern Making and Construction.
• Preference for candidates with 3 years or more academic or industry experience.
• Teaching experience in UG or higher-level courses is desirable.

Junior Lab Assistant – Leather Garments

• Minimum 1 year experience in Leather Garments Pattern Making and Construction.

Junior Lab Assistant – Fashion Design

• Ability to operate and stitch garments.
• Knowledge of repair and maintenance of:
  • Lock Stitch Machines
  • Overlock Machines
  • Flatlock Machines

Salary Details

Note: For engagement during part of a month, salary will be paid on a pro-rata basis considering a 30-day month.
