About the Recruitment
The National Institute of Technology Delhi (NIT Delhi) has invited applications for the position of Consultant (Training & Placement) on a purely temporary basis. The initial appointment will be for one year and may be extended from year to year depending on institutional requirements and satisfactory performance.
NIT Delhi is an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess a Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks in any of the following:
- MBA in Finance
- MBA in Marketing
- MBA in Human Resources
- MBA with another relevant specialization
Desirable Experience & Skills
Preference will be given to candidates having:
- Experience in conducting training and employability skills development programmes
- Ability to liaise with industries and understand industry requirements
- Experience in conducting aptitude training programmes
- Experience in an analogous/equivalent position involving Training & Placement activities
Key Responsibilities
The Consultant (Training & Placement) will support the institute’s training and placement activities, including:
- Coordinating with companies and organizations
- Supporting placement-related activities
- Scheduling placement tests and interactions
- Facilitating training and employability development programmes
- Liaising with industry representatives
- Supporting students with placement and joining formalities
Nature of Appointment
The appointment is purely temporary and initially for one year. Extension may be considered on a year-to-year basis depending on institute requirements, satisfactory performance and applicable institutional norms.
The appointment does not confer any claim for absorption or regularisation at NIT Delhi.
