Educational Qualification & Experience

Professor

Candidates should possess:

  • Ph.D.
  • 10 years after Ph.D. or 13 years of total working experience
  • Out of this, at least 7 years should be after Ph.D.
  • Candidates should have 3 years’ experience as Associate Professor in Level-13A2 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix, or
  • 4 years at the level of Associate Professor in Level-13A1, or
  • A combination of Level-13A1 and Level-13A2 or equivalent experience in a reputed institution, R&D laboratory or relevant industry.

Associate Professor

Candidates should possess:

  • Ph.D.
  • 6 years after Ph.D., including at least 3 years at the level of Assistant Professor Grade-I in Level-12 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix or corresponding approved pay level/scale, or equivalent experience in a reputed institution, R&D laboratory or relevant industry.

OR

  • 9 years of total working experience, of which:
    • 3 years should be after Ph.D., and
    • 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor Grade-I in Level-12 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix or equivalent.

Assistant Professor, Grade-I

Candidates should possess:

  • Ph.D.
  • 3 years after Ph.D., or
  • 6 years of total teaching and research experience in a reputed institution, R&D laboratory or relevant industry.

Assistant Professor, Grade-II

Candidates should possess:

  • Ph.D.

Entry Pay: ₹1,59,100/-

Associate Professor

Assistant Professor, Grade-I

Pay Level: 12
Entry Pay: ₹1,01,500/-
AGP: ₹8,000/-

Assistant Professor, Grade-II

Pay Level: 10
Entry Pay: ₹70,900/-
AGP: ₹6,000/-
