Rajiv Gandhi University (formerly Arunachal University) is a premier institution of higher education in Arunachal Pradesh. The foundation stone of the university was laid by Late Smt. Indira Gandhi, the then Prime Minister of India, on 4th February 1984 at Rono Hills, the present campus location. The university received academic recognition under Section 2(f) of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act on 28th March 1985 and began functioning on 1st April 1985. It subsequently received recognition under Section 12-B of the UGC Act on 25th March 1994.

Educational Qualifications
Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements prescribed under UGC norms.
- MBA with specialization in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management (HRM), or Supply Chain Management; OR M.Com with specialization in Accounting and Finance, Marketing, or HRM.
- A minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade from a university or higher education institution recognized by UGC, AICTE, or AIU.
- Must have cleared UGC NET, JRF, or SLET.
- Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. are exempted from the NET/JRF/SLET requirement, as stated in the recruitment notice.
Salary Details
Consolidated Remuneration: ₹1,000 per class, subject to a maximum of ₹40,000 per month.
Job Duration
The appointment is purely temporary for a period of one semester. The university may extend the service if required.
