Essential Qualification
Candidates must generally possess:
- A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in the concerned/relevant/allied subject from a recognized Indian university or an equivalent qualification from an accredited foreign university.
- Candidates must have cleared UGC/CSIR NET or a similar UGC-accredited examination such as GSLET/GSET, wherever applicable.
Candidates holding a qualifying Ph.D. may be exempted from the NET/GSLET/GSET requirement subject to the applicable UGC regulations and prescribed conditions.
A Ph.D. obtained from a foreign university/institution ranked among the top 500 in recognized world university rankings may also be considered as specified in the recruitment notification.
The academic score will be used for shortlisting candidates for interview, while selection will be based on interview performance as per the applicable UGC provisions.
Pay Scale
Selected candidates will receive:
Academic Level 10: ₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400
as per the applicable pay matrix and university/government norms.
