Assistant Professor Vacancies
Applications are invited for Assistant Professor positions in the following departments:

Essential Qualifications
Candidates should possess a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in the concerned, relevant or allied subject from a recognized Indian university or an equivalent qualification from an accredited foreign university.
Candidates must also have cleared UGC NET/CSIR NET or a similar UGC-accredited eligibility test such as SET, wherever applicable.
Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. in accordance with the applicable UGC Regulations may be exempted from the NET/SET requirement, subject to the prescribed conditions.
For candidates registered for Ph.D. programmes before 11th July 2009, the applicable exemption conditions include regular-mode Ph.D., evaluation of the thesis by at least two examiners, an open viva voce, publication of two research papers including at least one in a refereed journal, and presentation of at least two papers at eligible conferences/seminars.
For disciplines where NET/SET is not conducted, the applicable UGC provisions regarding Ph.D. as the minimum eligibility will apply.
A Ph.D. obtained from a foreign university/institution ranked among the top 500 in recognized world university rankings may also qualify as specified in the recruitment notification.
Pay Scale
The selected candidates will receive salary and benefits as per UGC and Maharashtra State Government norms.
