Key Responsibilities
The Academic Associate will support the successful design, implementation and scaling of the PGDPM programme and other short-term programmes.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and revising courses and the overall curriculum.
- Coordinating with stakeholders regarding curriculum and academic requirements.
- Searching for and compiling relevant literature and study materials.
- Identifying books, articles, case studies and audio-visual resources.
- Supporting development and social-sector related courses.
- Assisting with research activities.
- Supporting the preparation of case studies, teaching notes, articles and academic materials.
- Supporting programme evaluation and impact assessment.
- Contributing to the visibility and outreach of PGDPM and short-term programmes.
- Planning student assessments, including examinations, quizzes, assignments and projects.
- Conducting examinations and calculating grades.
- Preparing grade sheets and certificates.
- Coordinating with the Registrar and Examinations Department on academic and examination-related matters.
Work Schedule
Since the PGDPM programme follows a modular and part-time format, the Academic Associate should be comfortable with occasional schedule flexibility.
The role may require support during:
- Weekday evening sessions.
- Weekend sessions.
- Examinations and assessments.
- Student and faculty support activities.
- Approximately six contact periods of around two weeks each.
Candidates should therefore be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends when programme requirements demand it.
