About Positions : The Department of Science and Technology (DST) is sponsoring a project called “Camellia-I Drone: An Intelligent Automatic System for the Pest Infestation Assessment and Spraying Intervention in Tea Plants of North-East Region” at Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. There are positions available for two Project Associates-I and one Scientific Administrative Assistance/Field Worker, per the following details. The Institution will not offer any jobs once the project is finished because the appointments are only intended to be temporary contractual arrangements.
Job Title: Project Associate and Scientific Administrative Assistance, Field Worker Positions Available in DST- Sponsored Project.
Project duration:3 years only.
Project Associate:-
Essential Qualification: M.E. / M.Tech (Specialization in CSE) / M.E. / M.Tech (Specialization in Electronics Engg.,) / M.Sc. CS/M.Tech (Bio-Tech)/ M.Sc. Bio-Tech with a proven track of experience .
Scientific Administrative Assistance/ Field Worker:-
Essential Qualification: Graduate from recognized university.B.E./B.Tech (Specialization in CSE)/B.Sc. CS.
General Instructions:-
- The above posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

- Only shortlisted candidate will be called for interview. No TA/DA or any other expenses will be provided for attending the interview.

- Selected candidates need to join immediately or at very short notice.
