The Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ) invites online applications from eligible Indian citizens for 02 Group-A Non-Teaching positions.

Essential Qualification

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute or an equivalent qualification.

Candidates must also have at least 8 years of relevant experience as an Assistant Engineer in any of the following:

• CPWD
• State Government PWD
• Similar organized services
• Semi-Government organizations
• Public Sector Undertakings
• Statutory or autonomous organizations
• University system
• Reputed private organizations

Experience Relaxation

Candidates holding a postgraduate qualification in Construction Management, Structural Engineering or an equivalent field may receive a 2-year relaxation in the required experience.

Desirable Qualifications

Preference may be given to candidates having:

• At least 2 years of experience as an Executive Engineer handling time-bound construction projects involving multistorey buildings.
• Experience in planning, estimation and tendering according to CPWD/PWD norms.
• Knowledge of CPWD manuals, estimates, drawings, structural details and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and relevant project/construction management software.

2. Training & Placement Officer

Consolidated Salary: ₹80,000 per month

The consolidated remuneration will remain applicable throughout the engagement period.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess either of the following:

Option 1

M.Tech./M.E. in any discipline or equivalent professional degree with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade from an AICTE-approved University/Institute.

OR

Option 2

B.Tech./B.E. or equivalent professional degree along with MBA/PGDM in Marketing/HR, with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade in both qualifications, from AICTE-approved institutions.

Experience Requirement

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Training & Placement in Higher Educational Institutions.

Candidates from industry or placement agencies with experience in industry liaison may also be considered.

Desirable Skills

Candidates having the following skills may be preferred:

• Ability to conduct training and employability skill-development programmes.
• Strong industry liaison and understanding of industry requirements.
• Ability to conduct aptitude-training programmes.

Key Responsibilities

The selected Training & Placement Officer will be responsible for:

• Establishing partnerships with reputed industries and corporates for campus recruitment.
• Sharing eligible student information with recruiters.
• Inviting companies to participate in campus recruitment.
• Preparing students for aptitude tests, group discussions, technical interviews and HR interviews.
• Organizing campus recruitment drives.
• Developing placement opportunities for students.
• Conducting tests and workshops to identify students’ strengths and areas requiring improvement.
