About the Position
The National Institute of Technology Calicut (NIT Calicut) invites applications from eligible candidates for 02 Project Associate-I positions on a contract basis under a DST-INSPIRE sponsored research project in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering.
The selected candidates will work on research related to molecular communication and relay systems. The selection process will include an online interview scheduled for 16 September 2026.

Essential Qualifications
Candidates must possess either of the following qualifications:
Option 1
B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering or allied fields with a minimum 6.5 CGPA.
OR
Option 2
M.E./M.Tech. in Communication Engineering or allied fields with a minimum 6.5 CGPA.
Desirable Qualification
Preference will be given to candidates having experience in:
- Mathematical modelling of communication systems
- Communication system analysis and modelling
- Research related to molecular communication or relay systems
Salary
Selected candidates will receive a consolidated remuneration of:
₹30,000 per month + 20% HRA
Age Limit
Maximum Age: 35 years.
Candidates should satisfy the applicable age requirements as prescribed for the project position.
Duration of Engagement
The appointment will be made on a contract basis and will continue up to 31 March 2027, subject to project requirements and applicable terms and conditions.

Selection Process
