Essential Qualifications
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in the concerned, relevant, or allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
Candidates must also have:
- National Eligibility Test (NET) qualification for appointment as Assistant Professor, or
- A Ph.D. Degree in the concerned subject, as applicable.
A 5% relaxation in the minimum marks is available for SC/ST candidates, subject to applicable rules.
Age Limit
Candidates should be not more than 50 years of age as on 1st January 2026.
Usual relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable to candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC communities, as per applicable rules.
Salary Details
Consolidated Monthly Pay: ₹45,000/-
The appointment will be on a contractual basis for 11 months or until a permanent faculty member is appointed, whichever is earlier.
