Essential Qualifications
Assistant Professor
For most Assistant Professor positions, candidates should possess a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in the concerned, relevant, or allied subject from a recognized Indian University or an equivalent qualification from an accredited foreign university.
Candidates should also fulfill the applicable eligibility requirements, including NET conducted by UGC/CSIR or SLET/SET, or possess a Ph.D. awarded according to applicable UGC regulations, subject to prescribed exemptions.
Additional discipline-specific qualifications may apply.
Ayurvedic Pharmacy
Candidates should possess MD in Ras Shastra evam Bhaishjya Kalpana / Dravyaguna Vigyan or M.Pharm in Ayurveda, along with the applicable eligibility requirements.
Physiotherapy
Candidates should possess Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Physiotherapy with 55% marks, along with registration with the concerned regulatory council.
M.Sc. Sports Nutrition
Candidates should possess a Master’s degree in Sports Nutrition or an allied subject with 55% marks, along with the required teaching experience and NET qualification or applicable Ph.D. qualification.
Biomedical Sciences
Candidates should possess First Class Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biomedical Sciences or an allied discipline, along with NET from UGC/ICMR/CSIR/DBT/DST, as applicable.
Nursing Faculty
Qualifications for Nursing Faculty positions will be as prescribed under the applicable Indian Nursing Council guidelines.
Professor of Practice
Candidates should be distinguished experts with a proven record of at least 15 years of professional service or experience in the relevant domain.
A formal academic qualification is not essential where the candidate demonstrates exemplary professional expertise and achievements.
Desirable Qualifications
The following may be preferred for applicable positions:
- Teaching or research experience
- Ph.D. in the relevant discipline
- Quality research publications in high-impact Q1 journals
- Research projects as Principal Investigator or Co-Principal Investigator
- Patents
- Consultancy projects
- Relevant professional experience
Age Limit
Faculty on Short-Term Appointment: Upper age limit of 45 years for UR candidates.
Age relaxation will apply to reserved categories as per GNCTD norms.
Guest Faculty: Upper age limit of 69 years, subject to a maximum engagement age of 70 years.
Age will be reckoned as on the date of the walk-in interview.
Salary Details
Faculty on Short-Term Appointment
Consolidated Salary: ₹89,435/- per month
The consolidated remuneration is not eligible for additional allowances, pension, gratuity, or other benefits.
Guest Faculty
Honorarium: ₹1,500/- per lecture
Maximum: ₹50,000/- per month
Guest Faculty engagement does not carry additional allowances, pension, gratuity, or leave benefits.
